Hi! My name is Mackenzie Fillingham. I am a recent graduate of the Master of Architecture program at the McEwen School of Architecture at Laurentian University.
After graduating with my M.Arch in the spring of 2025, I've spent a year living in England and travelling throughout Europe! Experiencing Europe's rich architectural history first-hand has only deepened my love for the field. The opportunity to visit the places I've learned about since my first year in architecture school has been incredibly rewarding.
In addition to my six years completing my undergraduate and graduate degree, I have also worked for Integra Architecture in Vancouver, BC, and IHD Design Build in Tiny, ON, as an intern/designer and co-op student. From working on small-scale residential projects in the design-build sector to large-scale multi-family mixed-use residential projects, I have gained a wide range of skills that prove beneficial to any scale/phase of project.
I am ecstatic to be returning to Canada to enter the architectural field with my M.Arch, and a heightened appreciation for the work we do!
